LELAND — Haywood Jefferson “Woody” Clement, 70, moved on to his heavenly house Saturday, July 31, 2021. He succumbed to pancreatic cancer in the ease and comfort of his house in Leland, North Carolina. Woody was born Jan. 3, 1951, to the late Randolph and Florence Clement of Virginia Beach, Virginia. He was the oldest of five young children.

Woody is survived by his wife of 43 yrs, Mary Grace (Sciarrino) daughters, Cotie Mekdeci, Madeline German and Mary Beth (James) Grey son, Randy (Ashley) Clement brothers, Edward, Donald and Charles (Janice) Clement sister, Joan Miller and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and prolonged family members.

Soon after serving in the U.S. Army, Woody went onto a productive profession advertising corporate benefits. He favored to keep active in retirement and normally had at the very least 1 household advancement job at residence or at a single of his children’s residences. His joy was supporting his small children in any way he could. He loved to journey, exercise, experience bikes and read.
